Late Summer Getaway Generates $30,000 in Donations
BAY SHORE, NY – Kyle Chaikin, President of The Ultimate in Pool Care’s Chaikin Ultimate Pools and Chair of the NESPA Foundation for the Advancement of Education and Professionalism Summer Getaway Fundraiser Committee is pleased to announce that as the result of the Foundation’s Late Summer Getaway fundraising event, $10,000 grants were awarded to Welcoming Home Our Heroes and the Long Island Drowning Prevention Task Force.
Founded by the Northeast Spa & Pool Association (NESPA) in 2009, the NESPA Foundation is a philanthropic organization dedicated to enhancing the professionalism of the pool and spa industry through promotion, education and research, safety, and charitable endeavors. Its recent fundraising event generated a total of $30,000 in donations with the gratuitous help of numerous sponsors, including Jet Line Products, Loop-Loc, Zodiac, Meet AC, and the CNA Foundation.
“The work we do with the Foundation supports great organizations like Welcoming Home Our Heroes and the Long Island Drowning Prevention Task Force,” said Summer Getaway Fundraiser Committee Chair Kyle Chaikin.

About the Long Island Drowning Prevention Task Force (LIDPTF)
LIDPTF’s mission is to educate and teach safer behaviors to parents, caregivers and children about the dangers and risks associated with being in, on or near the water. One of the key ways they do this is by distributing their Water Safety, Water SMART booklets in the community. This past year they managed to reach more than 30,000 parents and children via this effort.
